On stage by age 5, Emily is no stranger to the stage.  Having sang in front of acts such as N’Sync, Alison Krauss, & Darryl Worley. Severely speech delayed as a baby, the physicians gave Emily’s mom cassette tapes that sang the sounds of words and letters.  Realizing she could sing, but couldn’t speak, Emily began voice lessons around 3 years of age and was on stage at the VA/KY Opry at age 5.  Having traveled across the country, music is her miracle.  She has performed the National Anthem at major sporting events such as the Nashville Predators and Nashville Sounds. Winning awards such as the TN Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year as well as the Rising Star Award, the stage is home for her.  She was also a quarter-finalist in American Idol.  Presently, she is on the worship team at Preaching Christ Church in downtown Kingsport. Emily always been actively involved in her community in Nashville and in the Tri-Cities.  To Emily, there is no mountain too high to climb.   Aim high, trust in the Lord, and never be afraid to fail.  You truly can do anything you believe in.
